This repair was on a broken adjustable powder drop tube for a Spolar shot shell reloader due to a crash. The thin wall tube was mangled and broken off. A new 4130 steel tube close to dimension was sourced, trimmed, and welded to the remaining portion of the old tube. The reason for the repair is new parts are backordered for weeks and the customer’s machine is down.
