Founded in 1980, and coming from the commercial metal fabrication , defense electronics, and entertainment industries, Jaytech formed to meet the welding and farication needs of the San Fernando Valley. During the 1980s Jaytech participated in the early computer technology field, and defense industries.

The 1990s and beyond saw the expansion into the entertainment and satellite communication industries, as well as many more commercial products such as precision machining and lite sheet metal.
