Another set of corners shipped out. Lots of alum welding. Getting inside is a chore for big hands.
Today we had a visit from Jeremy(Brazin on WeldingWeb.com), All the way from British Columbia.
Gave him a look at our shop and let take a spin welding on alum with 4943 alloy on the AHP hobby welder we have for demo. Really nice to put faces to the names like he himself mentioned.
Nice to meet you Jeremy,
Terry
I think I learn something new every day in the welding/fabrication business. For instance, these are both 3 to 1-1/2″ stainless steel weld-o-lets, used in high pressure air/liquid plumbing fixtures. Function is the same, but two different manufacturers. Not a problem when the finished project is hidden from view, but the units we fabricate are exposed! Back we go to our supplier…
As Jaytech moves slowly into the blogging universe, I have to seriously study (re: goof around) with various tools and programs-my head is spinning with style sheets, themes, widgets, and plugins! In the meantime, a customer brought in this magnificent fish tail muffler for us to fill in a hole. Yeah, we can weld that! We get the coolest stuff in here sometimes.
Welcome to Jaytech Welding and Fabrication’s new home on the web! Here, we’ll show you what we can do! Watch this space for future updates!
